Having spent over 20 years in technology, building new business and bringing products to market, Larry understands the benefit of business analytics and tapping into new data sources for competitive advantage. On his current mission, he is getting back to his roots, getting hands on and is redefining the way that developers interact with enterprise software and engage with IBM on the digital front. Prior to this role, Larry ran product marketing and strategy for IBM’s big data portfolio, including Hadoop and Streaming technologies and spent considerable time with IBM’s data warehousing business launching IBM’s first family of data warehouse appliances. Larry holds an MBA with from Kenan-Flagler Business School (UNC) and a Masters of Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
